We would like to start by welcoming our new neighbors Smoke Shack to the neighborhood! It has been many months of anticipation and the day has finally come. Smoke Shack opened officially on January 24th and is sure to be a staple eatery in the Third Ward.
Last evening was the maiden voyage for me, and I’m sure it is going to be a regular lunch hotspot for all of us here at MODA3. If you are a fan of delicious BBQ or just delicious food in general, Smoke Shack is sure to please. Even the most seasoned BBQ connoisseurs are going to love the way they do it. Your food comes out smoked to perfection and unsauced, allowing you to create your own BBQ heaven. With homemade sauces that all have something different to offer, there is no better way to do it than on your own. Load it up and make a mess!
First impressions are so important nowadays and everything about Smoke Shack is done right. Beautifully remodeled and equipped with a friendly knowledgeable staff you are sure to find yourself coming back for more. The menu has everything from Candied Bacon with caramelized Nueske’s bacon and sweet potato fries to the staple Ribs, Brisket and everything in-between. Not to mention the corn bread (please don’t ask for butter you will ruin it)!
